Forget about a regular season that saw some uneven play - especially during that disheartening December/ January slide.
That's right - just forget about it - because our guys from Phoenix have finally arrived.
Sure the Suns are going up against the dreaded LA Lakers on Monday and it's on their home court. Yes - the Suns are taking the hardwood in LA against the defending NBA champions and we are 6.5 point underdogs over at the Las Vegas Hilton. But don't be troubled dear readers - we've already demolished the San Antonio Spurs and there - to quote the ol'song - "Ain't No Stopping Us Now".
At least not in LA.
Our unbounded optimism - plus a cautious recommendation to take the points and put a couple of honest dollars on the line - is based on the extraordinary play of two veterans who ate the Spurs alive. And did it in style.

The two wrecking balls who knocked down the Spurs in fine form are - Amar'e Stoudemire and Jason Richardson.
A wily pair with their own individual styles on court - they combined for a devastating one-two punch that ripped through one of the best defenses in the league. Schooling San Antonio, the pair combined for 40 of the Suns 107 points in the last game of the series - better than 35% of the Phoenix offense that night.
Going further back in the series - the offensive prowess of our Masters of Disaster get's even better.
For example the second game of the series (May 5) saw Amar'e and J-Rich combine for 42 of the Suns 110 points and snag nearly one-third of all Phoenix rebounds (16 of 49). And the first game against the Spurs saw the high scoring duo hit for 50 of 111 Suns points.
Yes - we know the first game (May 3) was also dominated by a 33-point effort from Steve Nash and the fourth game against San Antonio was a career making moment for Goran Dragic as he went into offensive overdrive with 28 points. But our point still stands - the most consistently strong offensive output during the Suns four game sweep of the Spurs came from the unlikely pair of Amar'e and J-Rich.
And - here at www.sunsstufft.com - we just don't think the Lakers can contain those offensive Masters of Disaster. Even on their court.
See ya'.
